FBT-5 FIELDBUS WIRING VALIDATOR

Fieldbus wiring can be tested using the FBT-5 Fieldbus Wiring Validator.  It is connected to one end of a Fieldbus cable and generates a DC voltage and Fieldbus signal on the wire pair.  A Fieldbus Monitor (FBT-6) is used to check the voltage, signal levels, and noise on the other end of the cable.

These tests can be performed on existing instrumentation wiring, newly installed Fieldbus cable or a Fieldbus wiring system with

wiring blocks and Terminators already installed.
